About this event
A night of music and poetry organised by John Lindley for the benefit of The Trussell Trust food bank charity. All of the music was by, or paid tribute to, Bob Dylan. This, plus a companion event raised £1040 for the charity.

About 20 poets and musical acts took part. Fall in Green performed a new dark-wave version of 'Mr Tambourine Man', and Mark Sheeky performed two of his songs: 'Times Are Stayin' The Same'; and 'Song for Zimmerman', a song written specifically for the evening and his first guitar-based live performance. Deborah Edgeley read the Dylan poem 'Here Lies Bob Dylan'.

Other acts included John Lindley, who read 'Dream Twister', and performed with the Poachers too; 'You Ain't Goin' Nowhere', 'Gotta Serve Somebody', and leading the ensemble piece 'Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)'. Mike Drew performed 'Love minus Zero/No Limit', 'New Pony', 'and Talkin' World War III Blues'. Andy Stubbs performed 'The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll', and 'From a Buick 6', on a night filled with other performers, poems and music.
